Position Description

  • Build the quality control plan according to the technical specification and process requirements from customer demand.
  • Build the check list based on control plan, and regularly review and update.
  • Lead the QC team to implement the inspection process strictly
  • Lead Quality Alert or Escalation on shop floor, lead the containment action to protect Modine customer.
  • Lead Non-Conforming Product Control in process.
  • Organize the regular training for QC team to develop the skills and capability
  • Support after-sales service to deal with customer complaints properly
  • Support supplier quality engineer to monitor and develop the supplier performance
  •  Follow Modine Standard Practice (SP) to ensure the process compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Work with cross function teams to deploy quality tools in Modine product realization process, e.g.: 8D, MSA, Process Control Plan, FMEA, Product Audit, Process Audit, and etc.
  •  Be involved in product measurement and inspection method development based on customer requirement.
  •  Track corrective and preventive action effectiveness based on statistic study, provide quality report periodically.
  •  Coordinate product audit to verify the compliance with customer requirements.
  •  Attend QMS internal audit and LPA (Layered Process Audit).

Required Education & Qualifications

  • General minimum experience of 5 years in quality engineering. In addition to customer and project assignments requiring greater skills and experience, the incumbent provides leadership and guidance to less experienced employee. An in-depth understanding of ISO9001 and core quality tools such as FMEA, PCP, MSA, 8D etc.
  • Fluent English written/oral
  • Skilled in Minitab and SQL is prefer
  • A Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical field is required.
