Position Description

1. Collect and analysis information about market/suppliers of the needed material.
2. Source potential suppliers for production related material and working with Quality Department to prepare/implement qualification plan.
3. Negotiate with the suppliers to get the best lead-time, competitive price and best payment terms.
4. Prepare general agreement with supplier include general terms and conditions, price, logistics, and also working with quality Department for Quality Agreement.
5. Monitor the supplier performance, looking for the opportunities of optimizing the supplier China.
6. Prepare purchasing reports regularly and keep a good filing of purchasing document.
7. Set up cooperative relationship between purchasing group and other departments to ensure good team work.
8. Working with Quality team to follow up the quality issues and improvement process of suppliers.
9. Cost analysis and optimize to achieve the company cost down target.
10. Control of account payable for purchased commodity.
11. Other temporary duties delegated by high level managers.

Key Responsibilities

1)Identify the sourcing strategy align with AOP target
2)Review and update the annual contract
3)Implement cost saving plan with 8020 strategy and annual target
4)Scout new supplier and manage proactively accordingly to company compliance standards
5)Develop the quality and delivery performance of supplier with support from related dept.

Required Education & Qualifications

1. At least 5 years purchasing experience with a manufacturing background.
2. Good experience and knowledge of price negotiation.
3. Good English in writing and communication.
4. Familiar with all computer tools, ERP skill and capable of generating detailed reports.
5. Team working , and take responsibility under pressure.
6. Bachelor degree in Mechanics or Engineering.
