Position Description

 

The Senior Manager, Digital Workplace & Infrastructure provides leadership for the strategy, architecture, delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of the enterprise hosting, cloud infrastructure, end-user computing, and digital workplace environment.

 

This role is accountable for secure, reliable, scalable, and cost-effective technology capabilities across cloud, hybrid infrastructure, collaboration, endpoint, identity, productivity, and employee experience platforms. The position combines technical architecture ownership, operational accountability, vendor management, financial discipline, and direct leadership of hosting and digital workplace resources to ensure services align with business priorities, cybersecurity requirements, and enterprise technology standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead the strategy, architecture, and roadmap for enterprise hosting, cloud infrastructure, digital workplace, and end-user computing services.
  • Drive modernization initiatives including cloud adoption, infrastructure transformation, automation, platform lifecycle management, and workplace technology enhancements.
  • Oversee global cloud, hybrid, and on-premises hosting environments, ensuring performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead the administration and optimization of Microsoft technologies including Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, Autopilot, and Entra ID.
  • Establish and enforce architecture, engineering, governance, and operational standards across infrastructure and workplace services.
  • Champion digital workplace initiatives that enhance employee productivity, collaboration, mobility, security, and user experience.
  • Ensure infrastructure and workplace services meet cybersecurity, compliance, business continuity, and disaster recovery requirements.
  • Drive operational excellence through service-level management, continuous improvement, incident response, capacity planning, and platform optimization.
  • Partner with business leaders, IT teams, cybersecurity, and external vendors to align technology investments and services with organizational goals.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a global technology team while managing priorities, resources, performance, and strategic initiatives.

 

Required Education & Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, hosting services, digital workplace technologies, endpoint management, and IT operations in complex, multi-site environments.
  • 3+ years of direct people leadership experience managing infrastructure, cloud, workplace technology, endpoint, or related technical teams.
  • May require up to 25% domestic and international travel depending on project, plant, vendor, or business requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, operating, and modernizing Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, identity management, endpoint management, collaboration platforms, virtualization, networking fundamentals, security principles, resilience design, and operational best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead complex infrastructure and workplace initiatives from architecture through implementation and operational stabilization.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, stakeholder management, vendor management, and financial management skills.

The salary range for this position is estimated in good faith to be $129,600 - $181,800. The specific offer will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and other job-related considerations but will be within the stated range.
