Position Description
This Senior HR Generalist is a hands-on, execution-focused HR partner supporting both Racine-based and remote employees within the PT segment. Reporting to the HR Director, this role is responsible for delivering high-quality HR support across employee relations, performance management, and core HR processes.
This role is ideal for a strong HR professional who thrives in execution and is looking to grow into a broader strategic HR leadership role over time. The individual will gain exposure to workforce planning, organizational design, and leadership development, while building the foundational experience needed to take on expanded scope in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, including investigations, corrective actions, conflict resolution, and general employee concerns.
- Partner with leaders to address performance, attendance, and behavior‑related issues with timely, consistent, and legally sound approaches.
- Coach managers on providing clear performance feedback, maintaining documentation, and holding employees accountable.
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, feedback cycles, and corrective action plans.
- Execute core HR lifecycle processes such as onboarding, offboarding, promotions, transfers, and job changes.
- Maintain accuracy and data integrity in HR systems (SuccessFactors, SAP) and ensure organizational structures remain current.
- Support workforce planning activities such as headcount tracking, vacancy reporting, and labor forecasting.
- Assist with organizational changes, including restructures, role adjustments, and talent movement.
- Provide analytical and administrative support for talent reviews, succession discussions, and development planning.
- Partner with leaders to identify retention risks, monitor turnover trends, and support action planning to strengthen employee engagement and stability.
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes, improve documentation consistency, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Participate in special HR projects that expand exposure to workforce planning, organizational design, and business strategy.
Required Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- 5–8+ years of progressive HR experience
- Familiarity with SuccessFactors or similar HRIS systems
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus
