Position Description

The Quality Intern will be part of the Quality department standardization and enhancing Quality Management System. This position will support the first and second shift operations, woking with the Quality Team on each shfit to ensure adequate execution of Inspections, documentation, processes, and other areas where Quality provides support Operations. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Quality manager & Quality Engineer in leading to document Quality Work instructions needed for the Quality Team functionality.
  • Assist, Review & Update QA standard work.
  • Be part of the training session for the new hire Quality personnel.
  • Assist and participate to upload QMODE-SAP for incoming inspection.
  • Actively coordinate the plan to complete Process Flow – PFMEA – Control Plan.
  • Create templates and automated programs to transform data into visual tracking information.

Required Education & Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and analyze data.
  • Prior experience (1-2 years) in manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in using statistical analysis tools and software (e.g., Advance Excel).
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of process improvement concepts, including process mapping, value stream analysis, and root cause analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
