Position Description:
Operators must be able to:
· Assemble, install, repair and maintain and industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
· Read blueprints, drawings and work order specifications to determine the layout of the plumbing system such as water supply networks and waste and drainage system of the HVAC unit
· Ensuring precise measurements, cuttings, bending and threading of copper or PVC pipe using hand and power tools such as reamers, copper pipe cutter and pipe thread machine
· Join and secure tubes, pipes, couplings and fittings through the use of cement, soldering and brazing
· Test plumbing system for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
· Work with the Production Lead to meet the standard operation procedures
· Measure and mark guidelines for proper HVAC unit parts installation
· Ensure safety and quality measures are followed
· Other duties as assigned by a member of management
Pay- $24
Key Responsibilities
· Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance
· Ability to stand for a minimum of 2-3 hours
· Ability to reach over shoulders/head
· Ability to bend at waist and knees
· Ability to twist at shoulders/waist
· Familiar with tools
Required Education & Qualifications
Education Requirements:
· High school diploma of GED required.
