The Material Planning & Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing material planning and warehouse operations to ensure accurate inventory management, efficient material flow, and uninterrupted operational support. This role supervises warehouse and material planning activities, coordinates inventory movement, and ensures alignment between material availability and production requirements. The position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to drive operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily material planning and warehouse operations, including inventory control, material movement, and storage activities
  • Ensure material availability aligns with production schedules and operational requirements
  • Oversee inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliations, and inventory control procedures
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound material flow to support operational efficiency and on-time delivery
  • Lead warehouse personnel and planning support staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, production, and planning teams to resolve material shortages and operational issues
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory accuracy, warehouse productivity, and service levels
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and inventory control policies
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize warehouse operations and material planning efficiency
  • Maintain accurate data within ERP and inventory management systems

Required Education & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, material planning, inventory control, or supply chain operations
  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, warehouse operations, and material flow processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; ERP system experience required
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments preferred

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred

The salary range for this position is estimated in good faith to be $85,000 - $128,000. The specific offer will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and other job-related considerations but will be within the stated range. Where required by applicable law, a general description of benefits and other compensation offered for this role is also provided or made available.

The schedule for this role is M-Th 6am-4pm. Candidates must be open to overtime.
