3rd Shift Cell Set up Operate - Fab

Operate the Amada laser cutting machine and other machinery used in the sheet metal department or assist other machine operators.

Prepare sheet metal for delivery to brake press operators
Lift raw materials, final products, and items prepped for shipment, manually, or using overhead crane and forklift.
Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators.
Experience cycle counting sheet metal
Maintain a strict preventive maintenance program

Key Responsibilities

Select and set up lenses based on material type and thickness, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment.
Knowledge about nozzles used during laser cutting operation.
Knowledge nesting software and maximizing sheet utilization (Radan Software experience preferred)
Monitor fill level of bulk tank system and report reordering levels to the supervisor.
Keep work area clean and organized.
