Position Description
Afternoon Shift - Monday to Friday - 3:00PM to 11:30PM
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support a team of mechanical assembly employees.
- Coordinate daily production activities and adapt to changing priorities.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Oversee installation of HVAC components and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production Support, Quality, and Purchasing.
- Conduct cycle counts and ensure material availability for production.
- Support quality processes, including non‑conformance reporting and corrective actions.
- Improve production processes and assist in developing SOPs.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying materials, and working on the assembly line.
- Promote and follow all safety protocols.
- Lead supplier quality activities including audits, capability assessments, and long‑term quality improvement plans.
Required Education & Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years leadership experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in assembly or manufacturing.
- Ability to read technical drawings and lead a production team.
- Knowledge of quality processes; experience with ISO/IATF/AS standards is an asset.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable with hands‑on work in a fast‑paced environment.
