Position Description

The Sr. Inventory Control Analyst will be responsible for performing a number of tasks related to inventory accuracy with the goal of keeping the MRP system data accurate for the Purchasing and Production groups. This position will maintain accuracy of inventory for Productive and Non-Productive Material and Ensure all Inventory Policies and Procedures are followed within the Lawrenceburg facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain Inventory Accuracy through effective Cycle Counting
  • Resolve all Issues related to Inventory Accuracy
  • Develop Practices that support Inventory Policy and Procedures
  • Develop Support Techniques to maintain accurate data
  • Develop procedures to maintain data accuracy and integrity
  • Utilize Root Cause Analysis to correct and resolve inventory inaccuracies
  • Update ERP Systems to reflect changes in Inventory balances
  • Maintain Inventory Cycle Count metrics for Operations
  • Maintain Material Master data for ABC classification
  • Correct failed goods movements that pertain to shop floor raw materials

Required Education & Qualifications

  • Associate's degree required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering or another technical field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment working with inventory accuracy, planning, and cycle counting
  • Knowledge of MRP/ERP Systems, SAP preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to work well in a team setting
  • Knowledge of cycle counting practices and procedures
