Position Description

The Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for driving strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives across multiple business units, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, supplier performance, and alignment with organizational goals. This role operates independently, without direct reports, and collaborates cross-functionally to support procurement needs, optimize supply chain efficiency, and deliver value to the business.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business goals.
- Partner with business unit leaders, operations, finance, and engineering to understand procurement needs and priorities.

Lead complex sourcing projects and contract negotiations.

Manage vendor relationships and performance metrics.

Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and ensure supply continuity.

Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting systems.
Required Education & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).

8-10 years of progressive experience in procurement or strategic sourcing.

Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage or Made to Manage).

Excellent communicator, detail oriented and able to handle conflict.
