Job Description:
- Assemble make-up air equipment; check and confirm work in accordance with job specifications, procedures, quality standards, and checklists
- Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings (training provided)
- Safely operate forklift and/or other lift equipment
- Mount fans, motors, burners, and gas manifolds
- Measure, cut, and install insulation
- Accurately complete checklists
- Suggest design and procedure improvements to improve quality and productivity and reduce cost
- Maintain high productivity and quality workmanship
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to read, write, and do simple math, read a tape measure
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Ability to operate a MIG welder and pass a pre-employment weld test
- Ability to operate cold saw, iron worker, shear, bend sheet metal
- Ability to safely and properly use a wide variety of tools, including hand and power tools
- Ability to safely and properly operate a forklift and/or other lift equipment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to sit, bend, squat, and kneel
- Ability to perform work from a ladder, reaching and working overhead
- Ability to work cooperatively with others in a team environment
- Ability to follow directions in standard practices and procedures
- Construction, assembly, or carpentry experience preferred
- MIG welding experience preferred

- Bring Blueprints to Life: Assemble cutting-edge make-up air equipment with precision and pride, following detailed specs, procedures, and quality checklists.
- Master the Machines: Mount fans, motors, burners, and gas manifolds like a pro. Don’t worry—blueprint and CAD training is provided!
- Operate with Confidence: Safely handle forklifts and lift equipment to move and position components with ease.
- Craft with Care: Measure, cut, and install insulation to exacting standards—your attention to detail makes all the difference.
- Be the Quality Gatekeeper: Complete checklists with accuracy and suggest smart improvements to boost quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Own Your Craft: Maintain high productivity while delivering top-tier workmanship every step of the way.
Required Education & Qualifications
- A knack for mechanical work and a sharp eye for detail
- Ability to read tape measures, do basic math, and follow written instructions
- Comfortable reading blueprints and technical drawings (or eager to learn!)
- Skilled in MIG welding and operating tools like cold saws, iron workers, shears, and more
- Experience with sheet metal bending and general fabrication is a big plus
- Physically able to stand, bend, kneel, and work overhead—you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in construction, assembly, or carpentry is a bonus
