Position Description

WKND Shift

Friday - Sunday 6am - 6pm

Assembles parts in fixtures and welds assemblies together, by various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC, Etc.)  Makes repairs to own work. Changes welding points and tips and makes minor adjustments on equipment settings.  Performs other work related to the occupation or as assigned.

This position will be assigned to department 36.

This position specifically requires an Certification. A test requiring the candidate to weld a leak proof box, per print, will be administered by Modine. Only the candidates who pass the leak proof box test will move on to the interview process. The vacancies will be awarded to the most qualified candidate taking into consideration work record, attendance, safety, interviews, seniority, and testing.
