Position Description
Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday 4:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. (With Required Overtime)
$1.00 Shift Differential for B Shift
Works from verbal and/or written instructions from supervisor and engineers. Operator sets up and operates various CNC fabricators, shear, spot weld and press brake equipment per print. Set-up other equipment as assigned. Operator is able to fabricate parts using various sheet metal fabricating tools and machines. Operator is able to set up fabrication equipment to produce parts to print. Must be able to operate all department equipment. Must have the ability to read and use a variety of measuring instruments. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as req’d. Operator will input programs in CNC controls and make adjustments as necessary. Assumes responsibility for inspection of parts. Must have ability to use mathematics in various phases of the job. Report inferior workmanship and off-standard materials to supervisor. Perform other duties related to the occupation. Work with engineering to produce parts to print. Works in a safe manner and doesn’t endanger others. Keeps accurate inventory of tools. May be required to direct work of others in the area. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old.
