Position Description
This position is responsible for ensuring the overall quality of assemblies and processes across the production of chiller units, focusing on quality systems and processes at dedicated work stations.
Key Responsibilities
- Works from verbal and/or written instructions from supervisor and engineers.
- Sets up and operates various CNC fabricators, shear, spot weld and press brake equipment per print.
- Fabricates parts using various sheet metal fabricating tools and machines.
- Sets up fabrication equipment to produce parts to print. Must be able to operate all department equipment.
- Performs preventative maintenance on equipment as required.
- Inputs programs in CNC controls and make adjustments as necessary.
- Responsible for inspection and overall quality of fabricated parts
- Reports inferior defects and non-conforming parts to supervisor.
- Works with engineering to produce parts to print
- Keeps accurate inventory of tools.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma
- 1+ years manufacturing, preferably fabricating parts
