Position Description
As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will play a strategic and hands-on role in attracting, retaining, and developing our high-demand HVAC Service and Commissioning Technicians. You’ll lead recruitment and retention strategies, build scalable HR processes, and partner closely with leadership to ensure workforce stability and growth. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a dynamic, field-based environment and wants to make a measurable impact on talent sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment and retention strategies for critical technician roles in a highly competitive market.
- Develop and implement talent-building programs, including an apprenticeship program, sponsorship initiatives, and partnerships with local high schools, technical colleges, and universities to strengthen technician pipelines.
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, engagement, and retention initiatives to reduce turnover and improve team stability.
- Enhance onboarding and training programs to support field-based technicians and ensure compliance.
- Analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover, time-to-fill) and recommend data-driven improvements.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Service Team leadership, aligning HR strategies with business goals.
Required Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience. Experience supporting remote field technicians preferred.
- Demonstrated success in leading recruitment efforts and HR initiatives in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and coaching skills.
- In-depth knowledge of HR Laws, compliance, and best practices.
