Position Description
HR Administrator will be responsible supporting day-to-day human resources operations by providing administrative, clerical and functional HR support within the HR department and other areas as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist employees in answering questions relating to practices, policies, and other human resource needs in a friendly and confidential manner.
- Assist in answering phones and main entrance door access.
- Assist in ordering food and other items when visitors are on-site.
- Maintain employee files for employees as required by Modine, state and federal agencies.
- Prepare new hire packets, coordinate orientation agendas
- Act as a contact for managers and supervisors on HR issues in the absence of the HR Manager as needed.
- Print check stubs
- Responsible for handling and scheduling employee events.
- Print employee badges.
- Assist with inputting agency temps into software programs.
- Provide administrative support in other areas within the operation as needed.
Required Education & Qualifications
- Relevant work experience required, in lieu of degree. Two years office administration experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills are a must. Be proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word. SAP-HR knowledge would be beneficial.
