Position Description

Maintains warehouse of coils valued at approximately 800,000-1,200,000. Overtime is generally optional, however, mandatory overtime is required >8 hours daily and/or >40 hour work weeks

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow safety rules and Maintain clean and organized the work area
  • Loads and unloads coils for shipping area at CCP
  • Stores coils in correct location
  • Fork lift truck maintenance and paperwork
  • Drives truck to deliver products between OEM, LAL and CCP daily
  • Pickup and Deliver coils to Valley Rack in Elliot MS and Perma R several times a week
  • Loads and Deliver mail for CCP, LAL and OEM daily
  • Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse by storing coils and freight in the designated areas for shipping
  • Assist with  packing slips for outgoing freight
  • Spot the trailers for all Grenada facilities
  • Support and cover other positions when necessary

Required Education & Qualifications

  • Must be able to distinguish difference in size of pallets on a given G.O. to detect errors
  • Must be able to locate and group orders accurately.
  • Must be 100% accurate in loading customer orders
  • CDL driver license and monthly testing
  • Experience using a Fork lift and certification preferred
  • SAP will be a Plus
  • Experience using a Fork lift and certification preferred
  • Approximately 36 months experience required to do 90% of job
