Position Description

The Part-Time Sales Consultant serves as a strategic sales advisor and business development resource, partnering closely with the Sales Director to support revenue growth, customer acquisition, and key account development. Leveraging extensive leadership and sales experience, the consultant provides mentorship, assists with sales strategy execution, cultivates customer relationships, and identifies opportunities to strengthen the organization's market presence.

This role is ideal for a seasoned sales executive seeking a flexible, part-time position that allows them to contribute their expertise while supporting the success of the sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Sales Director to develop and execute sales strategies and business development initiatives.
  • Support the identification, pursuit, and closing of new business opportunities.
  • Leverage existing industry relationships and networks to expand market opportunities.
  • Assist with key customer meetings, negotiations, and strategic account management.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to sales team members as needed.
  • Participate in sales planning, forecasting, and pipeline reviews.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on sales processes, customer engagement, and market trends.
  • Support the development of proposals, presentations, and client communications.
  • Represent the company professionally at customer meetings, networking events, and industry functions.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for revenue growth and operational improvement

Required Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience.
  • Previous experience in a Vice President, Director, or senior sales leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, account management, and revenue growth.
  • Strong professional network and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
  • Experience within the company's industry or market segment.
  • Proven history of mentoring and developing sales professionals.
  • Experience supporting organizational growth and strategic planning initiatives.
