Position Description

You will ensure that all reasonable customer requirements are met with regards to specific and specialized engineering needs and commercial aspects such as pricing and customer service.  Requires a high level of communication skill to present an efficient and courteous presence for the customer.  Additional production and product development projects will add a level of integration into the complete sales/production process.  You will gain sales and marketing knowledge along with Product Engineering experience.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as contact for Data Center Hyperscale accounts, providing both technical and commercial assistance
• Assist in the selection of products specific to applications and/or materials of  construction designated by the customer
• Assist in customer trainings related to standard products (Chillers, CRAH, CDU)
• Address plant drawing, design and manufacturability issues with product engineers
• Coordinate customer pricing adjustments
• Screen new customer orders and requests
• Work with Customer Service Representatives to address customer needs such as ship dates, VOC’s, and other plant-related tasks
• Coordinate Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)
• Coordinate with Product Engineering on customer specific request

Required Education & Qualifications

• 4 year engineering degree or equivalent job experiencer
• Experience in Heat Transfer is preferred, Chiller or CRAH background is a plus
• Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills 
• Technical aptitude with great attention to detail
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required
• Computer aptitude and the ability to learn Modine SAP system
• CAD drafting and the ability to create concept drawings is a plus
• Experience in Customer Service, Manufacturing, or managing accounts is a plus
