Position Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Engineering to join our manufacturing team, specializing in the production of chillers for data centers. The ideal candidate will support various aspects of industrial engineering to ensure efficient operations and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Support the development and implementation of lean manufacturing principles and practices to enhance workflow and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to support overall manufacturing goals.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives, including time studies, workflow analysis, and layout optimization.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, process improvements, and engineering changes.
- Prepare reports and presentations related to production performance, process improvements, and engineering projects.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights for process optimization.
- Support inventory management by analyzing inventory levels and recommending improvements.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for industrial engineering processes.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Required Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment or strong co-op/internship experience.
- Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing and process improvement techniques.
- Hands-on problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
