Position Description
The Human Resource Rep will perform a variety of human resources related administrative duties associated with training, typing and filing, hiring, onboarding, compliance maintaining employment records, and basic functions relative to customer service
Key Responsibilities
- Occasionally conduct New Hire hourly Orientation
- Maintains current information on active and terminated hourly employees in Kronos, ADP and personnel files.
- Employee Job Training as needed
- Rearrange/Clean Up employee folders.
- Screen resumes and application forms
- Schedule, confirm and participate in applicant interviews
- Conduct phone interviews/occasionally answering phones
- Post, update, and remove job ads from job boards
- Prepare HR-related reports as needed
- Filling, shredding, organizing file cabinets, and producing employee badges
- Process Background Checks and I-9 verifications
- Assist with BBS Audits/Safety Audits
- Special Human Resource projects as directed
Required Education & Qualifications
- Ability to foster and maintain positive working relationships with staff and other personnel.
- Must exercise considerable judgment and discernment in all contact with employees, supervisors, applicants and visitors.
- Experience with office equipment.
- Proficient in computer software programs
- Must possess personal qualities related to respect for the rights and confidentiality of others.
- Preferred Bachelor Degree in Business or related field and two years human resources experience
