Position Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical skills and a strong work ethic, contributing to our dynamic and innovative environment. This role involves reading blueprints, understanding basics of CAD software like Auto CAD, and performing various mechanical tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and read blueprints accurately to guide production parts execution.
- Demonstrate basic understanding of CAD (Any Software).
- Understand the difference between metric and imperial units as needed.
- Utilize tools and mechanical knowledge to support various technical tasks.
- Measure materials and spaces accurately using tape measures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, displaying strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Maintain a responsible and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
- Exhibit a driven and trainable attitude, willing to learn and adapt to new tasks and technologies.
Required Education & Qualifications
- Basic proficiency with computer applications and CAD software.
- Understanding of mathematical concepts related to unit conversions.
- Prior experience with tools and mechanical tasks is advantageous.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools.
- Competence in using a tape measure accurately.
- Trainable with a strong desire to learn and improve.
- Responsible and dependable with a positive attitude.
- Good mathematical skills for unit conversions (metric to imperial and vice versa).
- This position may require occasional lifting and physical activity.
- Training will be provided to enhance skills and knowledge in specific areas as needed
