Position Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical skills and a strong work ethic, contributing to our dynamic and innovative environment. This role involves reading blueprints, utilizing CAD software, and performing various mechanical tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and read blueprints accurately to guide production parts execution.
  • Demonstrate basic understanding of CAD any software.
  • Understand the difference between metric and imperial units as needed.
  • Utilize tools and mechanical knowledge to support various technical tasks.
  • Measure materials and spaces accurately using tape measures.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, displaying strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Maintain a responsible and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
  • Exhibit a driven and trainable attitude, willing to learn and adapt to new tasks and technologies.

Required Education & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or higher education preferred.
  • Basic proficiency with computer applications and CAD software.
  • Understanding of mathematical concepts related to unit conversions.
  • Prior experience with tools and mechanical tasks is advantageous. 
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving 
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Basic CAD skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools.
  • Competence in using a tape measure accurately.
  • Trainable with a strong desire to learn and improve.
  • Responsible and dependable with a positive attitude.
  • Good mathematical skills for unit conversions (metric to imperial and vice versa.)
  • This position may require occasional lifting and physical activity.
  • Training will be provided to enhance skills and knowledge in specific areas as needed.
