Position Description
We are seeking a proactive and community-focused Human Resources Specialist to support our growing manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone passionate about recruiting hourly talent, building strong community relationships, and developing workforce pipelines through strategic partnerships. The Specialist will work closely with plant leadership and the HR team to deliver core HR functions, with a strong emphasis on talent acquisition, community partnerships , and employer brand building.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate interview schedules across multiple stakeholders, including candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.

Manage candidate communications regarding interview logistics, status updates, and next steps.

Support recruiting workflows by tracking applicant progress and ensuring timely movement through the hiring pipeline.

Assist with offer generation, pre-employment screening, background checks, and onboarding scheduling.

Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth start for all employees.
Additional Responsibilities

Build relationships with local organizations, workforce boards, and community leaders to promote the company as an employer of choice.

Represent the company at job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach initiatives.

Develop strategies to enhance brand recognition in the local labor market.

Establish and maintain partnerships with local high schools, technical colleges, and universities.

Support initiatives that align educational programs with plant workforce needs.
Required Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.

1 or more years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or plant setting.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.

Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

The salary range for this position is estimated in good faith to be $54,000– $74,000. The specific offer will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and other job-related considerations but will be within the stated range.
