Position Description
We are seeking a skilled HR Admin to join our team to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors while providing administrative support to both Human Resources and Plant Operations. This role is critical to maintaining a professional front office environment, supporting day-to-day administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth communication and coordination within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
Reception & Front Office Support
- Greet and assist visitors, vendors, contractors, and employees in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer and route incoming phone calls; take and distribute messages accurately
- Manage visitor sign-in procedures and support site security requirements (badges, logs, PPE as needed)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception and office area
Administrative Support
- Provide general administrative support to HR and Plant Operations teams
- Prepare, distribute, scan, and file documents (electronic and paper)
- Order and maintain office and breakroom supplies
- Assist with scheduling meetings, interviews, trainings, and plant events
Human Resources Support
- Assist HR with onboarding and recruiting activities
- Enter, update, and maintain data in HRIS, timekeeping systems, spreadsheets, and internal databases, ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Maintain employee files and records with confidentiality
- Support employee communications and training logistics
- Assist with PO requests, expense reports, and other accounting related tasks as needed.
Plant Operations Support
- Support plant leadership with administrative needs
- Assist with plant communications and postings
- Coordinate support for audits, meetings, and site visits
Required Education & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–2 years administrative or receptionist experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS software
- Strong communication and organizational skills
