Position Description
The position of Inventory Control Auditor is employed with the task of physically counting items and matching the physical count to the computer inventory. The auditor also performs a number of tasks related to inventory with the goal of keeping the computer system data accurate for the Purchasing and Production groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide continuous inventory measurement through physical counts, calculations, recording and reconciling in SAP.
- Interface with the stockroom personnel while counting like materials.
- Audit production order quantities.
- Correct failed goods movements that pertain to shop floor raw materials.
- Investigate causes of large difference when doing reconciliations
Required Education & Qualifications
- Computer, SAP and basic math skills are required.
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills with all departments.
- Accuracy and able to analyze data is a must.
- Must be able to work well unsupervised and be self-motivated.
- The Auditor may be required to work a flexible work schedule due to stock room needs.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and follow all safety rules.
