Position Description
The Painter is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the paint shop, ensuring high-quality output, efficient production, and adherence to safety standards.

- Work with other paint shop employees, ensuring consistent quality assurance across all tasks and document the results.
- Plan manpower requirements and assign personnel to meet production schedules effectively.
- Assist in setting up and optimizing production methods and processes to enhance efficiency.
- Recommend and help implement new or improved painting techniques and production methods.
- Ensure availability of necessary tools, equipment, and supplies for uninterrupted operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of paint and cleaning product usage.
- Support staff in achieving high standards of workmanship and product quality.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain housekeeping standards within the department.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor
- Document process through writing of SOPs.
- Implement and maintain daily process management boards.
- Maintain a 5S culture.
- Report all safety concerns to EHS or Plant manager.
Required Education & Qualifications
GED or High School Diploma and previous experience required.
