Position Description

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations within the manufacturing facility. This role manages a team of maintenance technicians and associates, ensuring all equipment and facility systems operate safely, reliably, and efficiently. The Maintenance Supervisor coordinates preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities while supporting production goals and enforcing safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance technicians and associates.
- Assign and prioritize maintenance work orders to ensure timely completion.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities across all equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot escalated equipment issues and provide technical guidance to the maintenance team.
- Monitor maintenance performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and company safety policies.
- Manage spare parts inventory, vendor relationships, and service contracts as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, schedules, and completed work in CMMS.
Required Education and Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance supervision in a manufacturing environment or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with CMMS and preventative maintenance programs.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA and other safety regulations.
Education Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
