Product Development Engineering Co-op (Data Center)

Position Description
Candidate will work within a global team to develop a standard Coolant Distribution Unit (CDU)
for data center cooling. Activities will include specifying and sourcing components, generating design
concepts in CAD, generating BoMs and cost rollups, creating unit spec sheets, and test data analysis. This
roll will also contribute to ongoing projects for engineering systems, standards, and workflows.

• Create and manage bill of materials.
• Create test plans for new component testing.
• Analyze test data.
• Create tech sheets to be shared with customers.
• Generate and modify existing designs based on customer feedback. (SolidEdge)
• Learn existing work flows & support efforts in documentation and standardization.
Required Education & Qualifications
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Sophomore standing or above, pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• A basic understanding of heat transfer and its application to assigned products and of the
customer's product and end use are required.
• Knowledge of structural design, manufacturing processes and computer methods are necessary.
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal.
