Position Description
Climate by Design International (CDI) is seeking an experienced Electrical Panel Lead to provide hands-on leadership within our Electrical Panel Assembly department. This position combines technical electrical assembly expertise with team leadership responsibilities to ensure HVAC electrical panels and remote stations are assembled safely, accurately, and on schedule.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled electrical assembler who enjoys mentoring team members, solving production challenges, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the team lead within the Electrical Panel Assembly department.
- Provide day-to-day work direction and guidance to team members.
- Communicate and reinforce production priorities established by the Production Supervisor.
- Train and mentor employees on electrical assembly procedures and best practices.
- Provide performance feedback to the Production Supervisor.
- Support production teams by helping resolve workflow, scheduling, equipment, and quality issues.
- Serve as backup for leads in other departments when needed.
- Work alongside team members to assemble electrical panels and remote stations for HVAC equipment.
- Assemble components according to job specifications, drawings, and electrical diagrams.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, designs, dimensions, and tolerances.
Required Education & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience wiring HVAC equipment.
- Experience working with electrical wiring and electrical diagrams.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, diagrams, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Strong verbal communication and team collaboration skills
- Formal electrical training.
- Previous lead or mentoring experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in HVAC manufacturing or electrical panel assembly.
