Position Description
We are seeking an EHS Administrator to manage our WCB claims and modified work programs and provide overall support to the safety team.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all Workers Compensation (WCB) claims for current and new claims, minimizing lost time, recovery and return to work.
- Partner with various teams to create, maintain and update comprehensive Physical Demand Analyses (PDAs) for all roles across the organization.
- use PDAs to guide injury prevention, claim management, and development of modified work opportunities.
- Support initiatives to reduce workplace injuries and associated costs.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with privacy legislation.
- Manage all return-to-work programs:
- mitigate lost time by ensuring modified requirements are clearly outlined and adhered to throughout the program.
- dispute or appeal claims, as appropriate.
- Create reports including claims’ history and usage, lost time and industry premium ratings.
- Assist the EHS team with various projects.
Required Education & Qualifications
- Previous experience managing the WCB claims process
- Exceptional communication skills
- Superior organizational skills
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Previous experience in health & safety will be considered an asset
