Position Description
The Data Center HVAC Technician builds upon foundational skills, with an emphasis on gaining experience in system preventative maintenance. This role requires minimal supervision once trained and introduces more independent tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine tasks independently or with minimal oversight.
- Conduct basic diagnostics and troubleshooting of equipment issues (air-cooled and water-cooled chillers).
- Knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems.
- Work on installation, minor repairs, commissioning, testing, and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards.
Required Education & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical coursework
- EPA Certification
- 3+ years of relevant experience: chiller system design, installation, controls & automation, or commissioning & performance testing.
- Effective communication with team members and supervisors
