Position Description
The Warehouse Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Modine’s manufacturing and distribution operations by overseeing day‑to‑day warehouse activities, ensuring accurate inventory control, and facilitating efficient material flow. This position serves as a critical link between production, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure on‑time material delivery, precise order processing, and smooth warehouse operations while upholding Modine’s safety and quality standards.
Morning Shift : Monday - Friday 6:00AM - 2:30PM
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Coordinate daily shipping, receiving, stocking, and material movement activities.
- Ensure accurate picking, packing, labeling, and staging of orders for production and outbound shipments.
- Monitor warehouse workflows to maintain efficiency and meet production schedules.
- Support cycle counts and physical inventory audits to maintain data accuracy.
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date inventory records in Modine’s ERP/WMS systems.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
Logistics & Coordination
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
- Prepare shipping documents, bills of lading, customs paperwork, and freight labels.
- Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or issues.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with Modine’s EHS policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular equipment checks and support 5S initiatives.
- Promote and maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Required Education & Qualifications
Education & Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Manufacturing experience preferred, particularly within automotive, HVAC, or industrial sectors.
- Forklift certification and experience with material‑handling equipment.
- Experience with ERP/WMS systems (SAP) considered an asset.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Solid understanding of inventory control principles.
- Ability to operate forklifts and material‑handling equipment (valid certifications preferred).
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive problem‑solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Work Environment
- Fast‑paced warehouse or production environment.
- Regular standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and equipment operation may be required.
- Frequent interaction with production, supply chain, quality, and logistics teams.
