Position Description
As a Journeyman Welder, you will be responsible for performing high‑quality GTAW (TIG) welding on light‑gauge steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Afternoon Shift - Monday to Friday - 3:00PM- 11:30PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform GTAW welding on light‑gauge steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
- Read and interpret welding drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials and consumables
- Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and compliance with standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to meet production and quality targets
Required Education & Qualifications
- Journeyman Welder ticket
- Proven experience with GTAW (TIG) welding
- Experience welding light‑gauge materials preferred
- Strong understanding of welding safety practices
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
