Position Description
The Quality Inspector Lead is responsible for supervising a quality inspection team, conducting product quality inspections, analyzing quality data, and implementing corrective actions to ensure products meet established. Key duties detailed product evaluations, meticulous data analysis to identify trends, training and mentoring staff, and collaborating with other departments to drive continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the quality inspection team, overseeing product evaluation processes and ensuring compliance with standards and specifications.
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process products, and finished products to identify defects and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, propose corrective actions, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and drive root cause analysis.
- Train and mentor quality inspection staff, fostering a culture of quality awareness and accountability.
- Stay current with industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
Required Education & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in quality inspection or quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in using quality tools such as statistical process control (SPC), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality excellence.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proactive problem-solver with a strong focus on achieving quality objectives.
- A passion for quality and continuous improvement, coupled with a positive and collaborative attitude.
