Position Description
The Quality System Support Technician ensures processes and products meet quality standards by providing technical support for its quality management system, maintaining documentation, conducting internal audits, and assisting with corrective actions to address gaps and drive continuous improvement. Key duties include supporting document control, helping with audit preparation, and tracking quality metrics. The role requires attention to detail, strong technical and communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the creation, review, and management of documents and records related to the quality system.
- Track and follow up on action items to close identified gaps and ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Work with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the production process and support new product development.
- Potentially guide production staff on quality control procedures.
Required Education & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent or 2 years on the job experience at a position equal to that of a Quality System Support Tech
- Work experience in the field of Quality Control preferably in manufacturing environment
- Skilled in MS Windows and Office
- Good communication (written and spoken), mathematical and computer skills
