Position Description

 

The Business Process Specialist evaluates, designs, executes, measures, monitors and controls business processes in order to improve overall organization performance. 
You will analyse and optimise our existing business processes, implement process improvement initiatives and drive operational excellence across the organisation. You will design and develop innovative solutions using MS Power Platform to support and optimize our business functions.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Solution Development: Design, develop, and implement custom applications using Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Automate Desktop, Dataverse, Power Pages, Copilot Studio, AI Builder, Power Platform Connectors.
  • Integration: Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services (e.g., Dynamics 365, Microsoft Teams) and third-party applications.
  • Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring solutions meet business needs and objectives.
  • Testing and Deployment: Conduct thorough testing of applications and workflows and manage deployment processes to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Power Platform solutions, troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements as needed.
  • Custom Development: Extend the capabilities of Power Platform solutions through custom development using languages such as JavaScript, Python, C#, and SQL.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed solutions, including design specifications, user guides, and technical manuals.
  • Training: Train end-users and provide technical support to ensure effective utilization of Power Platform solutions.

Required Education & Qualifications

 

Education Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field required.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum of three years' experience in Power Platform Developer, Business Process management or a related role.
  • Power Platform (Canvas/model-driven apps, SharePoint, Power BI, Dataverse)
  • Relational databases 
  • Web APIs
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management skills; able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with various process mapping tools.
  • A strong ability to communicate complex processes in clear, understandable terms.
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate preferred.
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate preferred.
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert preferred.
