Position Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Welder to join our world-class manufacturing team on both Morning and Afternoon shifts. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering high-quality products by performing precision GTAW (TIG) and MIG welding on light gauge materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.

Morning Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm - Monday to Friday

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform GTAW (TIG) & (MIG) welding on light gauge steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
  • Utilize FCAW and GMAW processes as required
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications
  • Ensure weld quality meets required standards and specifications
  • Perform preventative maintenance on welding equipment
  • Inspect finished welds to ensure accuracy, strength, and consistency
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets

Required Education & Qualifications

  • Proven experience with GTAW (TIG), FCAW, and GMAW welding processes
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings
  • Experience with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Willingness to work overtime (weekdays/weekends) as required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Experience operating shears and press brakes is considered an asset
