Position Description
The Human Resources Coordinator supports both plant HR operations and the talent acquisition function by coordinating day-to-day HR workflows, managing employee and candidate communications, and ensuring the execution of the employee lifecycle. This role partners closely with recruiters, HR Generalists, hiring managers, and plant supervisors to deliver a high-quality employee experience. The position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate HRIS and recruiting data, tracking timelines, and ensuring compliance throughout all HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations

Facilitate new-hire orientation sessions, collect and process new-hire documentation, and ensure day-one readiness.

Maintain accurate employee records, status changes, and organizational updates in the HRIS.

Assist supervisors and employees with hourly timekeeping, attendance tracking, and initial payroll data audits.

Act as a reliable point of contact for frontline employees regarding general HR policies, benefits enrollment, and company resources.
Recruitment

Coordinate interview schedules across multiple stakeholders, including candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.

Manage candidate communications regarding interview logistics, status updates, and next steps.

Support recruiting workflows by tracking applicant progress and ensuring timely movement through the hiring pipeline.

Assist with offer generation, pre-employment screening, background checks, and onboarding scheduling.
Compliance

Ensure all recruiting, hiring, and personnel documentation strictly complies with provincial employment standards and company policies.

Assist in maintaining confidential personnel files, training records, and compliance audit logs.

Support plant employee engagement initiatives, recognition events, and special HR projects as needed.
Required Education & Qualifications

Associate degree or Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

1 to 3 years of experience supporting recruiting coordination, HR administration.

Familiarity with SuccessFactors considered an asset.

Strong organizational skills, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, high attention to detail and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams
