• Ensure office personnel adhere to standard work as it pertains to preparing and distributing Pick Lists to Order Fillers, completing and distributing Pack List and shipping labels, and completing the shipment with the BOL’s.
• Ensure accuracy of inventory.  Conduct cycle counts as needed.  Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Achieve accuracy of shipments by ensuring that Pick Lists are correct and Order Fillers follow standard work in terms of verifying and documenting that units pulled match the order requirements
• Ensure that all unit bar codes are correctly scanned and ID’d per standard work and all records are uploaded accordingly.
• Ensure all freight is marked and identified appropriately; and ensure that LTL and truckload carriers complete and sign the BOL’s.
• Investigate all daily shipping discrepancies and implement corrective measures when required.
• Schedule and coordinate LTL and truckload carriers to ensure the most efficient and cost effective mode of shipment.
• Oversee the preparation and shipment of UPS orders per standard work requirements.
• Work closely with production scheduling and production supervision regarding production schedules to meet ship dates.  Modify ship dates when needed to ensure customers are notified of changes in schedules.
• Work closely with Customer Service regarding scheduled ship dates, inventory availability, and expedite requests.
• Ensure security of the building at all times, which includes responsibility for securing doors and gates and engaging automated security system.
• Meet all internal control requirements that pertain to the receiving, warehousing, and shipping functions.
• Keep warehouse orderly and organized.
• Rotate inventory to ensure as close to First-in, First-out inventory management as possible.
• The Production Supervisor is responsible for safety of all employees and making sure that they follow all safety procedures and wear all safety equipment.
• Perform order maintenance in SAP as required, including reviewing and addressing open deliveries, closing open line items, changing mixed shipping points, etc.
• Manage Bill & Hold orders (typically Airedale) for later shipments, which involves special tagging and shipping steps.
• Ensure damaged product and duplicated/canceled conversion units are sent back to BV to be returned to sellable condition.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly reports relevant to KPI’s for shipping, service and accessory departments and conduct GEMBA walks in each department daily.

High School diploma or GED.  Prior supervisory experience or training preferred.  Must have or be able to gain thorough knowledge of manufacturing process/procedures and supervisory techniques. SAP experience preferred. Microsoft Excel experience required.
