Position Description

At Modine, we work with a team of sales partners located in the US and Canada. As a team, our goal is to help these Modine Sales Representatives (Reps) wherever help is needed.  You will manage all communication between the Modine Teams and our Sales Representatives for customer service issues related to sales orders. You will work directly with the factory to manage requests from the Customer and Sales Team. You also work directly with Commercial Carriers to provide assistance. The Customer Service Rep will report to the Material, Planning and Logistics Manager.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • The most common daily activity and top priority is responding to emails and calls related to orders. Inquiries often relate to freight damage issues, reconsignments, shipping issues and updates, product availability and lead times, credit and billing and other logistics assistance.  Given the variety of questions, close communication with several Modine’s Teams is necessary,
  • Work with our web-based NOVO software to report and record customer’s sales order experience in support of the Plant’s reporting and statistics    
  • High email volume and the need to respond quickly will require a thorough understanding of the product and available internal resources.  Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time while maintaining a high level of quality and attentive to detail is a must.
  • We work to meet Rep expectations for consistent and reliable information. You will work with Operations, Product Management, General Contractors, Commercial Carriers, Credit, Traffic, Service and Engineering to obtain the information needed to address all inquiries. Providing this information in a timely, accurate and professional manner is critical.
     

Required Education & Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Customer Service role
  • Proactive mindset
  • Thorough understanding of order flow and manufacturing process
  • Experience with Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Experience using SAP is preferred but not required
