Position Description
The Cell Setup Operator will operate or tend machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal or plastic material.
Key Responsibilities
- Read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to understand technical operating, service or repair manuals.
- Examine products or work to verify conformance to specifications
- Maintain or repair industrial related equipment or machinery.
- Adjust production equipment and machinery setup
- Fabricate, assemble or disassemble manufactured products by hand
- Use precision cutting tools and be able to measure, weigh or count products/materials.
- Perform safety inspections and operate machinery in a safe manner.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
Required Education & Qualifications
- Education - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
