Position Description

The Director, Quality Systems will lead the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of quality systems across six manufacturing plants. This role is responsible for driving standardization, compliance, and operational excellence in quality processes and systems. The Director will oversee plant-level quality leaders and collaborate with a dedicated resource focused on harmonizing quality standards across the network.

This role requires a strategic and hands-on leader with deep expertise in quality management systems, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver who can unify diverse teams under a shared vision of quality excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage quality systems across six manufacturing plants, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and customer expectations.
  • Supervise a dedicated resource focused on developing and implementing standardized quality processes and documentation.
  • Drive compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and internal quality policies across all sites.
  • Collaborate with plant leadership, engineering, and operations to ensure robust quality planning and execution.
  • Oversee internal audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and monitor quality KPIs, reporting performance trends and improvement opportunities to executive leadership.
  • Support new product launches by ensuring quality systems readiness and risk mitigation.
  • Champion digital quality tools, data analytics, and process automation to enhance system efficiency.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in root cause analysis and problem-solving for systemic quality issues.
  • Provide strategic input to the Manufacturing Excellence Director and senior leadership on quality system maturity and capability gaps.

Required Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
