Position Description
The Recruiter supports full-cycle hiring for hourly and skilled trades roles in a high-volume environment. This role focuses on efficient sourcing, hiring execution, and onboarding coordination while ensuring data accuracy and alignment with weekly staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly and skilled trades roles, including postings, screening, interviewing, and offer preparation
- Coordinate interviews, manage candidate communications, and support hiring managers through the hiring process
- Facilitate onboarding activities, including orientation, new-hire communications, and stakeholder reporting
- Maintain accurate data in the ATS across requisitions, candidate workflows, and onboarding tasks
- Create employee profiles and process onboarding documentation, including payroll setup and system entry
- Track and reconcile hiring and onboarding activity to ensure accuracy and timely updates
- Prepare employment documentation and support related HR processes (for example verifications and PAF processing)
- Monitor and follow up on onboarding tasks to ensure timely completion
- Support additional recruitment and HR activities as required
Required Education & Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
- 3-6 years of recruitment experience in a high-volume or industrial environment
- Experience working with an ATS; exposure to SAP SuccessFactors or Payworks is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to manage hiring pipelines, track data, and support onboarding workflows
